Composer/producer Pei Pei Chung writes music that flows between orchestral and electronic worlds. Her work ranges from cinematic scores to synth-driven pop, always shaped by a strong melodic voice and attention to emotional detail.

Born on the island of Borneo, Pei Pei began playing classical piano at age four. After earning an Ivy League degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania, she studied film scoring at UCLA, where she was awarded the BMI Jerry Goldsmith Scholarship. Coming up through LA's underground electronic scene, she began merging classical technique with electronic production. In addition to her work for film and media, she writes and produces synthpop as electrølush.

In her career of 25 years, Pei Pei’s music has appeared on CBS, NBC, Fox, Discovery, Disney, Columbia Pictures, Sundance, and many more. Her scoring projects range from feature films and documentaries to interactive installations. She scored the three time Emmy-nominated series “Endurance”. She has written over a dozen television theme songs and scored commercials and promos. As a producer, she has collaborated with artists with millions of streams. She mixes trailers and promos for clients that include HBO, IMAX, and Lionsgate. Pei Pei is a co-founder of What Up Pitches, a women owned music production house and music licensing agency.
